SEAmagine has developed over the years a well proven pilot training program for its submersibles. Training is normally performed upon delivery of the vessel by a SEAmagine instructor at the client's location using the infrastructure the crew will be operating to ensure the overall submersible operation is well understood. Pilot training covers theory classes, practical lessons, emergency training drills, and daily maintenance issues.
Comprehensive training is provided at the superyacht and/or shadow-boat location when your SEAmagine submersible is delivered. Full pilot training typically requires five to six weeks of intensive work both in a "classroom" environment as well as in and around the actual submersible.
Captains and even superyacht owners may elect to receive partial or complete pilot training. Most superyachts train two to three existing crewmembers to be full submersible pilots while providing partial training to several more who function as support personnel during the actual dives.
